Locally grown foods are the way to go. We enjoy many locally grown foods from local merchants in the <a href="//www.dumpsterrentalqueens.com" title="dumpster rental Queens" rel="nofollow">Queens, NY</a> area.

I focus heavily on eating local foods in Georgia. We get all kinds of produce and local proteins that are delicious and nutritious. We get some of the best dairy in the nation and I am proud to eat my locally grown foods.

Another great post Janet. My favorite trend for 2010 is the mainstreaming of sustainability. I was in California last month, and every time I ate out, I was happy to see a major focus on local (so local that menus showcased the small farms the ingredients came from). This was certainly the case at Chez Panisse in Berkeley but pretty much everywhere else I dined. One of my favorite restaurants was Ubuntu in Napa. http://tinyurl.com/ydf8kb8
Knowing that major food trends often begin in California, I'm confident sustainability is here to stay.
